Interested in doing more to help out Zebra Huddle? We need a new volunteer to help with moderating the forum and handling disputes when they come in (rarely).
Jessticular Fortitude will be stepping down from the position so someone more active will be able to take her place.
Anyone interested should message me. I'll decide how to proceed based on how many responses I get.
Thanks,
Major Wood

Highly recommended for officials who can accept the daily time committment. As much as it is a position of importance, it's one of learning too. It can only make you better, certainly with communication and professionalism.
-
Yeah, it's good times. If you like keeping things neat and tidy, moderating may be for you. Hot heads need not apply.
-
When you say " daily time committment", how much time is typically involved in this - and is it something that really does require a daily check?
-
Not much per day, but everyday. Basically keep up with every post at the least. Many of you do this anyway. Occasionally some additional work.
-
If you keep up with reading all the threads here, it's really just changing your focus a little bit and steering the discussion when you notice it going off track, or telling people to not let things get personal. That sort of thing. Occasionally, you might need to split a thread if it has multiple topics being discussed.

AND it gives you the power to destroy spam with a mere flick of the mouse!

Thank you to those of you who have messaged me. I will be providing options to the committee and we will decide on one person internally.
-
Once again, I'd like to thank all of you who put their name in to be considered for the spot.
We have chosen Shaun Ketterman to serve as our new moderator and Acceptable Use Committee member.

Thanks! I look forward to working with everyone!

Congrats, and let me be the first to say [something offtopic, incoherent, inappropraite, and probably an ad.]
