Post by: Bear Grylled on October 31, 2012, 12:22:53 am
Hi Zebra Huddle peeps,

Is there anywhere in ZH land or WFTDA land that might have a commentators standard practices and or ettiquette document?

I am looking for something to give new commentators on their first day commentating to say what they should and shouldnt be doing etc and commentating having inpact on the game etc and what they should and shouldnt be saying?

Any help please?

The information they need is probably contained here: Association of Flat Track Derby Announcers (http://www.aftda.org/)

I second that and highly recommend that you push your announcers/commentators to join AFTDA. There is also a PDF download that they use as an Announcer Handbook (to be updated but still good information).

It covers many subjects including "multiple announcers.. who does what?" "What is appropriate/Innappropriate" etc..
