Zebra Huddle mobile

This topic is actually covering two very specific items, an announcement and a question.

First, the announcement:
On various mobile devices, you may have (by default) been getting a mobile page when visiting Zebra Huddle. Other mobile devices, like iOS and Android devices do not automatically bring up the mobile version. You can now direct your browser (mobile or not) to either m.zebrahuddle.com or mobile.zebrahuddle.com to get the mobile version.
Why might this be better for you? If your connection is really slow, or you are worried about exceeding download limits, the mobile version is much smaller and will load faster as a result.

Now, the question:
I have had Tapatalk installed for Zebra Huddle. Tapatalk is something that allows you to view various forums in a mobile app. The app is free, but very limited in functionality. If you actually want to post, I believe you have to get the paid app. Many of you viewing on mobile devices (not using Tapatalk or the mobile page) have gotten nagging messages about Tapatalk.
Because of those messages and various other issues, I would like to get rid of Tapatalk. At the same time, I do not wish to alienate the users who do access Zebra Huddle through that app. So to those of you who do use it, what are your thoughts on having the capability removed?

I use Tapatalk.
I use it 'cause internet on my phone is so damn slow (though I have yet to try the new mobile version) and tapatalk is faster.

I'd be fine with canning tapatalk (since I access ZH from computer most of the time these days anyways).

I use the paid version of Taptalk. I like it a lot. ZH is the only forum I visit now that uses it. Using my iPhone's browser to access ZH - or any other forum - works okay, but kind of sucks.

Having said all that, I don't care that much... I do most of my forum surfing from my desktop these days.

I use tapatalk, both with my own league's forums and otherwise, and I concur that the pop-up is damned annoying. But, thought they love to obscure the method for its removal, there is an easy way to stop the popup from coming up, but still have tapatalk enabled.

In the tapatalk installation folder, find "tapatalkdetect.js". Change the line:

detectTapatalk();

to

//detectTapatalk();

And that should do it.

Thanks for adding the mobile version. A slow connection and those popups almost had me buying, glad to see they're gone ;-) I'd rather use a good mobile version and donate the $3 price of Tapatalk to ZH. One comment about the mobile version though, it would be useful to still have the date stamp on the posts so it's more clear which posts are recent.

Digging up an old thread...

Did Tapatalk access go away?  I'm no longer able to access the forum through that app.  It said to contact the forum administrator...something about a plugin or possible admin limiting access.

Thank you!
