We have been noticing a drastic increase in the number of potential confidentiality breaches lately. This is to be expected with the rapid growth of roller derby and the number of WFTDA member and apprentice leagues, but that doesn't mean it should be happening. We want everyone to be aware that you (both the general "you" and "you" as an individual) need to be cautious about posting information that may be confidential. Any leaks of information on here can jeopardize Zebra Huddle's relationship with the WFTDA.

If you are a referee, NSO, player or team staffer who has signed a non-disclosure agreement with the WFTDA (if you’re affiliated with a WFTDA member or apprentice league, or you are certified you’ve absolutely done this), please be very mindful of what you post to Zebra Huddle and consider whether it is covered by your NDA.  Zebra Huddle is open to all, therefore many users are not covered by a WFTDA NDA.  As such, they are not to be made privy to the WFTDA’s proprietary information before it’s made public.

•   Reposting information about possible upcoming clarifications, publications or official documents that have yet to be made public is a breach of the NDA.

•   Quoting WFTDA committee members or other posts on the WFTDA forum without express consent of the committee or poster is a breach of the NDA.

•   Repeating what your WFTDA rep or anyone else has told you he or she read on the WFTDA forum or was told by a committee member is a breach of the NDA.

•   Reporting on the results or existence of private WFTDA votes before the results of the votes are made public is a breach of the NDA.

•   Reporting on the the exact results of any private WFTDA vote which has closed is a breach of the NDA.

We realize that sometimes people aren’t sure what is covered.  As a general rule, if you’re going to post something that isn’t public information that anyone could gather from the WFTDA’s public documents or website, err on the side of caution and do not post about it.
Violations will be removed by administrators.  Please use good judgment.

You can call me "Shaun". My shirts say "Ketterman" because they're sports jersies. Only kids and mascots put first names on jersies!
