The Tucson Derby Brats, arguably (if you ask Rat City) the first Junior Derby league in the world, are planning an as-yet-to-be-named tournament in Tucson, Arizona, home of the iconic Dust Devil. The dates have been set and this event will take place on March 16th and 17th, 2013 at the Tucson Roller Derby Wreckhouse. We have five strong Junior Derby teams scheduled to participate in a single elimination tournament which will include at least six games, all JRDA sanctioned. The teams are:

Tucson Derby Brats
Denver Rollerpunks
San Fernando Valley Junior Roller Derby
Las Cruces Minor Threat
Phoenix Derby Brats

All of these teams play smart, hard, skillful derby under full WFTDA rules. If you have not yet seen high-level Junior Derby, you will be VERY impressed. If you have reffed Junior Derby, you know what I'm talking about.

I'm looking to fill two full ref crews as well as NSO spots and would be honored to have your application. I'm especially looking for a HEAD NSO.

Expenses for the Tucson Derby Brats are considerable for this event, and I'm not sure what we can do for visiting officials, but I'll work hard on lodging and food for all that can help out.

Please send me an email if you are interested. The sooner the better, as the date approaches rapidly.
