Northeast Derby Convention 2013
« on: January 27, 2013, 02:07:13 am »
This year at Bruised Boutique's second annual Northeast Derby Convention in Providence RI there will be a lot of officiating opportunities throughout Memorial day day weekend and will be a great opportunity for all. The weekend is May 24-27. What the officials pass will get you:

Access to ALL non-contact skating seminars during the entire convention

Off-skates seminars covering a wide variety of topics from a variety of coaches on both Saturday and Sunday. It's not final yet but there could be as many as 10 off-skates seminars!

On-skates officials-only seminars

Unlike last year this year officials will be able to participate in some of the skater on-skates seminars to officiate. There are some coaches who like to incorporate rules into their seminars and would like to have officials there. This will be beneficial for the skaters and officials and there is an all-star roster of coaches to potentially work with.

Scrimmages on both Saturday and Sunday that need officiating. Similar to last year there will hopefully be a high level referee to offer observation and feedback to officials from at least one scrimmage. Last year we had Sugar Daddy come

and of course, after-parties!

If you have any questions you can send them to referee@derbyconvention.com

As you can see there will be LOTS for you to do there so if you are able I hope to see you there!
