The GaffGun appears to be the answer to my track laying prayers

Designed for gaffers to tape down cabling, this looks like the most beautiful solution to laying a track. You can get adaptors for different sized cables/ropes, and to use any rolls of tape.

We've used a Track Daddy the past couple of seasons. Same idea.

We put down a top layer of vinyl tape.  It's expensive, but it holds down the line wonderfully and needs virtually no repair during the game.  I checked out the Gaff Gun but thought it wasn't sturdy enough to handle vinyl tape that has way more adhesive than gaffer's tape.  Neat track laying device though.

I saw the GaffGun website last year and have wanted one. Do you use it? Does it work? I've seen the TrackDaddy in actual action and it appears to work too... but are they still selling it?

It may be a moot point if my league won't ever pay for it though...

We got the Gaffgun and it works great!

And.. it wasn't too hard to convince the league's committee cough up the cash..
Cuts down on setup time and saves your knees :)
