I know that Sanctioned games and Mock Sanctions need to be reported by 24 hours on http://scores.wftda.com but I'm still unclear on what to do during these other types of bouts. I have some people swear I should just submit even though the page says only for sanction.

They have also added "AP Initial SF" and "SFC" to the list of bout types but I can't find an explanation of these terms.

Thanks for the help!

(sorry Mods, I'm sure this should probably go in Forms but it wont let me delete or move it)

SFC is "Strength Factor Challenge."

The problem that underrated teams often face is that higher rated teams don't want to play them.  Facing an underrated opponent means that you are likely to lose rating points, because they are likely to over perform expectations.  As such, teams that are perceived as underrated have trouble getting bouts, which is the only way to FIX their rating.

As a way to address this Catch-22, teams may play a limited number of Strength Factor Challenge games per year.  In a strength factor challenge, the challenged team feels no impact to their rating or strength factor as a result of the game.  However, the challenger's strength factor can be adjusted, meaning that their predicted performance should in the future come closer to their actual performance, making them less of a pariah when it comes to scheduling.

There is no need to report scores to the WFTDA for games that are not sanctioned, mock sanctioned or strength factor.

Unless the game has an impact on rankings, membership, or strength multiplier, WFTDA sanctioning doesn't particularly care.

Leagues may have their own stats posting process that they want things reported to, but that would be maintained by the leagues involved in the game.
