Roller Derby Rule of the Day needs a new writer
« on: November 17, 2015, 02:10:44 pm »
After a year and a half of writing for Roller Derby Rule of the Day, Judge Injury is stepping down as a staff writer-administrator.  We are now seeking one or two writer-administrators to work alongside me on this page. This is a volunteer position that requires approximately 4-6 hours per week. We request a one year commitment to writing for RDRotD. A strong mastery of the WFTDA rule set is required along with solid writing skills and the ability to explain difficult concepts in easy-to-understand terms.

A typical post on RDRotD receives about 10,000-12,000 views with our most popular ones having as many as 60,000 or more.  This makes Roller Derby Rule of the Day one of the most visible derby rules teaching opportunities on the Internet.  If you have a love of teaching and writing then we'd like to talk to you.

If you would like to be considered, please send an e-mail to by November 24 with a short narrative of your experience and qualifications, and one or two examples of a rules post with accompanying explanation. Officials are also requested to submit their game history if available.

To learn more about Roller Derby Rule of the Day, check out our page on Facebook...

... or drop me an e-mail at the address above.  Thanks! - The referee who quotes a rule with the most digits is declared the winner.
