Here's a little refereeing drill that Killer Bite and I came up with. Jokey title, but serious stuff within. Give it a go and let us know what you think!

(named after a game that made us scratch our heads and figure out just how the hell we *could* keep up with Reaper... sub in the name of a local star Jammer by all means if it helps communicate the purpose!)

Only thing I have to say about what you have put together is that your "hard mode" might be easier for some people.
Speaking personally, I react to what is happening in front of me much quicker than I can react to something said to me. I think I would do terribly with the base drill, but exceptionally with "hard mode". I don't know if that is a common thing or not.

Think my only mod would be to do: cone1 20ft cone2 10ft cone3 5ft cone4 5ft cone5 5ft cone6 10ft cone7 20ft cone8

Then randomize.

Similar to what we do here. During endurance I used to follow a skater from the inside as though they where a jammer, the drills often required them to change direction/lanes/fall/jump and combos of the above as called by their coach. Works well when you don't have a crew or someone to be"caller."
I play devils advocate a lot, it is always because I desire a complete understanding of the rule/scenario. I do make changes to my reffing often as a direct result of discussions resulting in a consensus. Particularly if it is contrary to my previous understanding.
